This week's question:
Have you ever convinced someone to read a book, a series, or a whole genre? What book(s) and who was it? Did they like it?
I have convinced people (but mostly just my friend Pauline) to read books. I think some of them include the Slammed series, Maybe Someday, Just One Day series, The Mortal Instruments series, and The Archived. I’m not sure if it was because of me that they read it though; maybe I was just that last push? I don’t know, haha. Most of them enjoyed those books from what I gather, but Pauline didn’t like the Just One Day series. She went absolutely crazy over Slammed and Maybe Someday, though, so that kind of makes up for it! :p

Our book club encourages reading just about EVERYTHING! We vote on monthly group reads to discuss. Sometimes we hate 'em; sometimes we love 'em. The most important thing is to have fun, right?
Good answer. Nice that you have a friend you can share your reads with.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I recently convinced someone to read The Mortal Instruments series too! Though I have to admit I recommend it with strong reservations. I saw the movie first and it turned out that I liked it more than the books in some ways. What did you think of it?
Hi Dyane! This is so weird, bye! :))

I think it's great when you can convince someone to read something you loved and they loved it too. Definitely try and check out The Catastrophic History of You and Me and if you do let me know what you thought :) Old follower~

Yeah! It's fun to have someone to rave to about great books. :) Thank you as well!
Pauline and I read it first, but after the movie (which, by coincidence, we ended up seeing together), we actually had the same opinion of liking it more than the book, haha! :)
Yeah, it's nice to have someone to share the feels with, haha! I'll definitely push The Catastrophic History of You and Me up on my TBR list; I've heard great things about it! :)

Yesss Pauline and I are huge Colleen Hoover fans! I've yet to read a book of hers that isn't amazing! Thank you too! :)
She's a great author! And yeah, you should check out The Archived; there's such an interesting idea behind it. Thank you too! :)

I do have this one friend as well where we're always recommending books to each other. And because she book blogs as well we always seem to be each others final push to give something a chance. I just remembered I have The Archived on my Kindle but somehow haven't read it yet :O I'm a new GFC follower! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend!
